Privacy policy: what this HugoBets guide does with your data

This policy covers the independent information site about HugoBets that you are reading. It does not cover the HugoBets casino itself, which keeps its own accounts, runs its own checks and has its own privacy policy. Where this policy says “we”, it means the editorial team of this information site.
1. Who is responsible
For the data described here, the editorial team is the controller. We do not open player accounts, take payments or run verification, so none of that data passes through us. The contact address for every privacy request is [email protected].

We do not ask for passport, bank or card details, and we ask you not to send any. A correction request needs only the page name and the figure.
3. Why we use it and on what basis

- Optional cookies for measurement: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies keep the site running. Optional cookies are only set after you agree, and refusing them does not change what you can read. You can delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
5. Who else sees the data
Service providers that host the site or deliver e-mail may process data on our behalf under a contract. We do not sell personal data and we do not pass your message to HugoBets, because we are not part of HugoBets. A message that concerns a personal HugoBets account will be answered with a pointer to HugoBets Customer Support.
6. How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept only as long as it takes to answer you and record any correction, and is then deleted. Server logs are kept for the shortest period that security needs. Cookie choices last until you change them.
7. Data held by the casino is a separate matter

8. Links to other sites
Pages here point to HugoBets, to GamCare and to the Information Commissioner’s Office. After you follow a link, the privacy policy of the destination applies. HugoBets in particular decides for itself what its login, bank-link sign-up and deposit pages collect, and we see none of it.
9. Security and automated decisions
Messages sent to the contact address are readable only by the editorial team. No decision about a reader is taken by automated means, and nothing in the site profiles readers to decide what they see about HugoBets.
10. International transfers
Our hosting and e-mail providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, transfers rely on the safeguards UK law allows, such as approved contract terms.

12. Readers under 18
The site is for adults. The minimum gambling age in Great Britain is 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
